An interesting Shiraz, not a classic Shiraz. Very smooth with berry, peppery and spicy coming through. There is a sharpness to this wine.

Man with no Palate Review
Considering that this is usually $16 for a bottle, what we would classify as a splash out wine. It is really disappointing, it lacks depth although does have a slightly acidic, fruity, cherry like taste.

McLaren Vale is one of Australia’s most celebrated regions for Shiraz, producing wines of greate style, substance and sophistication.
This hand made wine was crafted in a traditional manner and is carefully plunged and pumped over to extract all the flavour and the colour in the grapes to give a rich and rewarding wine. Aromas of upfront cherry and licorice so redolent of McLaren Vale Shiraz abount the full palate shows more locally ripe berry fruits with complexity provided by soft mouth filling tannins, the freshness shows potential for aging but the softness allows enjoyment now.
