An oakness to the smell of this wine when in the glass. Amazing it is both rich and smooth to the taste with little acidness. There are real vanilla undertones to this wine.

Man with no Palate Review
Many years ago I had a Banrock wine and absolutely hated it. So when Donna bought this Cabernet Merlot from Banrock Station I was not really looking forward to it. But am really pleasently surprised by its rich, deep flavour and to me fantastically smooth vanilla undertones.
