Reviews

The Donna Review

I find this wine a little too acidic, to enjoy. And really can’t even finish a glass – it is sour and has no flavour and leaves a strange taste on the tongue.
So far I have not found a great Portuguese wine – finding a good Portuguese wine is like finding a good Riesling.

Man with no Palate Review

Can’t say I am a fan of Portuguese wine, the ones that we have reviewed, seem to be popular but wasn’t overly impressed. But sometimes you just want a wine that is drinkable for any occasion. And this wine pretty much almost hits the mark. Yes it is a little bit acidic, but is really flavoursome. I would say if you are looking for a wine that is not special, but something to drink this is a pretty good drop.

Bonavita Tinto Cassa Santos Lima 2018 Bottle Label Description

Bonavita is a wine made from the grape varieties Touriga, Franca, Tinta Roriz, Castelao and Syrah, which have been harvested later than usual to get greater ripeness and smoothness.
It is a soft and rich wine, with good structure and fruit notes of blackcurrant, cherries and plums, combined with hints of chocolate in a smooth and long finish.
