The Donna Review
A deep red and really does look like a classic Merlot in the glass (which is one of my all time favourites). This one is okay, slight acidness to it but still creamy enough to be drinkable. Yet there is a smoothness to it. Perfectly drinkable.

Man with no Palate Review
Grant Burge wines as one of the larger mass producer of wines generally in my optinion are pretty consistent and reliable. This Merlot although slightly acidic does pack alot of flavour for a Merlot and is actually quite rich for a Merlot

Grant Burge Merlot 2018 Bottle Label Description
True to its name, the winemaker at Grant Burge have carefully selected parcels of fruit from the Barossa to make this classic Merlot.
Deep ruby red in colour, this medium bodied wine has lifted aromas of red berry fruit, cherries and spice. The full palate is layered with lovely plum and black fruit flavours with hints of vanilla showing through before finishing with impressive length.
Although drinking well now this wine will benefit from careful cellaring. It is a perfect match for a variety of tomato based pasta dishes.
