The Donna Review
Beautifully deep in the glass, almost black with a creamy consistency. A complex wine, with liquorice undertones. This is a rather tasty wine and with the 3 grape variety it works really well. You can easily drink this on its own or with food. Maybe the price reflects this lovely wine
Wine Rating: 3.5/5
Man with no Palate Review
I quite like this wine more for the fact that it is a combination of grapes we generally don’t have and I don’t think I have ever had a Mataro. So it is difficult to base it off anything. It would be interesting to do a blind test of this with a Shiraz and see what the difference is. But if you are looking for a different red wine, this would be worth a crack.

Krondorf Barossa Grenache, Shiraz, Mataro 2018 Bottle Label Description
The story of Krondorf Crown Village begins in 1847, with 121, small family plots of grapevines, and their values of love, faith and hope.
Those little vineyards went on to lay the foundation of what the Barossa is today, and this modern blend of Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro delivers the hallmark brightness and freshness of the region.
Plum and blackberry aromas support a bright palate of intense berries, chocolate and liquorice. Mataro lends a savoury flavour, and the integrated oak provides fine tannins and a cherry complexity.
In 1847 the people of Krondorf began a wine industry that helped lay the foundation for what the Barossa is today. As custodians of the legacy we winemakers craft modern expression of signature Barossa vineyards.
Made using fining agents, which contain egg, milk and nut products. Tracks may remain. Contains Sulphates.
