Beautiful bouquet on this wine. Thick in the glass and full of taste, with a slight bitter afterbite. It is the aftertaste that really lets it down. The flavour is instant, but then seems to disappear rather quickly.
whether 2018 is still too young to drink and maybe this is a wine that matures with age – so might be worth lying down for a few years.

Man with no Palate Review
First off the bouquet is pretty soft, spot on for a Rioja. Initially it is quite sweet with some deep berry flavours and then it kinda stops. There is a slight unpleasant aftertaste and it does hit the stomach, this could be because of the relatively high alcohol level. The strange thing is can’t quite get away from the flavour. But compared to Pablo & Pedro this is not worth the almost double in price.
