The Donna Review

Saw the last bottle of this on the shelf and thought if sold out it must be good. So we decided to let this one breath before drinking.

It is very dark in the glass, an okay aroma and very smooth. Hard to work out which flavours come through, but there is a spicy undertone and at the same time it is quite dry. Still very drinkable.

Unfortunately the only thing that lets this wine down, is after a while the tannins do come through,

Man with no palate Review

This wine I was seriously contemplating buying, it is a classic red Italian wine. And personally think this would made a great BBQ wine which would go well with any red meat and pork. The only thing that lets it down at this price is it is slightly acidic.

I would buy one now and let it rest for a couple of years.

The young fine connoisseur

There is a very aromatic smell to it, sweetness with hints of berries and fruits. Once in the mouth it is quite dry and spicy, I wouldn’t say it is smooth, but it isn’t hard to drink.
