The Donna Review
Beautiful bouquet and also a deep, deep if slightly on the black side in colour. This is a delicious wine, just like a classic Shiraz with its spiciness (more undertone) and a slight sharpness to it.
But there is a smoothness to this wine and I wonder if it is because it is a 2018 and has matured well, with potentially more maturing to do.
Is it worth the price, well yes because we had had some truly ropey wines of late and its refreshing to have a decent wine again – even it this is a splash out wine.

Man with no palate Review
Being Father’s Day weekend I thought I would push out the boat a little bit. Even the local wine merchant was surprised when I asked for a $30 wine.
And here is the thing, is my disappointment in this wine due to the point that it is a $30 wine or the fact that I have suddenly realised that Shiraz and this is a classic peppery Shiraz just doesn’t float my boat.
Don’t get me wrong, this has a lovely bouquet, has very little aftertaste, which makes a nice change. But for me it’s just missing something and I don’t know what it is.
