The Donna Review
So as we loved the red from this vineyard, when I saw the white I thought this would be worth a try. It is rather yellow in the bottle, but on pouring is much lighter which you will see in the photos. The bouquet is that of a cheap wine, I know that it was under $10 – but at Aldi that would be classed as an expensive wine. Needs to be served well chilled, a bit of a non-descript wine – not great on flavour – no acidiness but all in all a bit disappointing.

Man with no palate Review
For those of you who regularly read this blog will know that we don’t often drink a white wine. So to have 2 in consecutive weeks is somewhat rare, last weeks white, Seave was really good. So, reviewing this wine is an interesting conundrum, after a difficult week at work. The anticipation for this wine was high and its slightly disappointing based off the above. It does hold its flavour, leaves no bitter aftertaste and I would say is a very safe white. Great in a risotto.

So French By la Mule Rose 2020 Bottle Label Description
Located on hilly slope of a clay and limestone soils, our vines benefit from the winds. Grenache Noir and Syrah make up the majority in this blend, which offers a bright ruby colour and an expressive nose full of bramble fruits. Lovely palate with velvety tannins and gorgeous ripe red fruits and spicy notes. A perfect pairing for many dishes, it can also be enjoyed as an aperitif.
