The Donna Review
At five years old this is a matured wine. It still has that kick to it – like all Shiraz’s do. It is a beautiful deep burgundy in the glass. There is definitely plum flavours, spice and vanilla come through. It leaves a warm feeling in the mouth.
I think this would go really well with chocolate or even on its own.
Definitely worth looking for this as it is a limited release.

Man with no Palate Review
This is a flavoursome full bodied Shiraz> Which is reasonably tasty but considering it is 5 years old would expect this to be far less acidic and a lot smoother. Maybe we opened this too soon.

Taylor Ferguson Directors Reserve Shiraz is aged in oak and sourced from the premium vineyards located in McLaren Vale, South Australia.
Deep opaque purple-red in colour, this wine’s bouquet shows intense earthy spice notes with hints of oak vanillin and plum.
The palate displays flavours of sweet plum jam with spicy characters, balanced acidity and soft tannins.
