The Donna Review

Although a different vintage year to the previous one we had a few years ago. I actually do like this wine. It has a very distinct floral note to the nose. But doesn’t come through in the taste. Although does have a fruitiness to it and a distanct taste.

Man with no Palate Review

It’s nicer than I remembered. We had this wine a few years ago and to be honest I don’t remember it being this good. This vintage seems a lot smoother, has a lovely balance of different fruit flavours particularly cherry. This is a very safe wine and at the price, pretty much spot on.

Wynns Coonawarra Estate Shiraz 2018 Bottle Label Description

Wynns Coonawarra Estate was founded by pioneer John Riddoch who planted vineyards in 1891, recognising the potential of the rich, red Terra Rossa soil and the long ripening season of Coonawarra’s cool southerly climate. The estate’s famous triple-gabled winery was completed in 1896 and purchased by the Wynn family in 1951.
Dark cherry and raspberry combine with floral and pepper aromas. The plate follows suit with appealing gentle tannins and soft acidity. Attractive dark fruits, complexity and length are hallmarks of this medium-bottled cool climate Shiraz.
